Any band where the bassist and/or drummer is exceptional will usually have an overlooked guitarist like >>72943434, Alex Lifeson, Andy Summers, etc., though that's not to say they're necessarily underrated

I'd say pic related is quite underrated. Most XTC songs are a lot harder to play than you'd think

I've always thought Stephen Malkmus was underrated. It especially shows in his solo stuff.
