Meh I agree but classically trained musicians (and sometimes jazz musicians) understand rhythms, melody and other pieces of music much better because they have that experience with analyzing and reproducing those kind of rhythms.
It harkens back to the "High Art" debate
If there's a painting that looks like a fucking masterpiece then people who paint and non painters should be able to enjoy it. Though I think someone who has been painting for a long time would be more intrigued than someone who is taking a 30 minute art gallery visit
