Sketches of Spain is a pretty mind blowing record but that's more about Gill Evans arranging than anything. My favorite Miles group is the second quintet

i haven't come close to getting around to all of his stuff but so far i like his second quintet era the best. E.S.P. and miles in the sky really stand out. i also really like 'round about midnight
