Posthumous doesn't necessarily mean incomplete. There are tons of completed albums that were ready to ship but didn't because the artist/s died in post-production.

If the album is assembled posthumously from literal B-sides yes, but sometimes an album is written and recorded and then the artist dies in the weeks or months before its release.
for instance John Coltrane died in 1967 but had recorded enough material that for a couple years after he died, new albums were still released in his name. And they were still incredible.
