Yeah I'm pretty excited, love the bass+drums combo even though other bands do it better. Favorite song is probably Ten Tonne Skeleton.

Also in my opinion they do great most of the time but sometimes i feel like im too old for this kind of lyrics they put on some songs, shit looks like its made for 17 year old teens.

Good, heavy alt rock. The new album is sounding great so far.
My only problem with Royal Blood is that all of their songs sound identical. They aren't experimenting in new genres, and they haven't even tried a softer song yet. If they did this, they'd be a world-renowned act until 2030.

I fucking hate these major label posers. Literally Queens of the Stone Age lite music for le-wrong-generation middle schoolers.

I challenge any fan of their music to name even ONE thing about them that is unique or interesting in any way.

all royal blood songs sound exactly the same
DFA1979 did the same thing 100x better in 2004, and they are not that amazing in the first place

Do you know what contrived even means? Who cares how unique ideas arise, as long as they are unique ideas. Whether they are contrived or come from spontaneous experimentation has no bearing on their quality.

Even if this were true (which it isn't), Royal Blood does not even go far enough to offer a unique twist on any existing formula

Hell no, they're a repackaged boring 2 piece gimmick Le bass into guitar amp xD that plays "real rock!" for people who don't know shit about music. Take DFA1979 and water it down to an utter clean, safe yet lagging lyrics and riffs, for Chad to enjoy on his radio after a good workout! Look at the drummer, looks like he sells sneakers for a living, there's literally nothing rock and roll about them, hell the singer says he picked up bass because it was so "easy and dumb to play" probably thinks he discovered something amazing! haha, fucking hack
