>People keep calling this the greatest Hip Hop album
>Finally hear
>It sounds like a shitty Bandcamp album
>>72910323
How much 90's hip hop have you actually listened to?
>>72910323
It's good but I don't allow myself to like it because of the Nation of Islam shit
>>72910373
I don't know.
Most records like it are kinda lame. Weak, sparse beats with not much variation in flow. While the lyrics are I guess well done, who the fuck listens to music for words? Records like this fail to deliver on the rhythmic interplay and visceral energy that makes hip hop worth listening to.
>>72910404
wow you're cool, you cock sucking faggot
Show me any bandcamp shit that's as good as 4th Chamber

>>72911700
>le dead maymay! xD
>>72910323
Terrible. People say it's so good but it's like bland oatmeal. It's the dad rock of rap. All these old timers saying bring back rap. Mostly white kids going through their "I'm 13 and I listen" phase. It was good for the time but we got people like Migos and Future who are leading the movement. No one wants to listen to that Dr. Seuss shit anymore.
>>72910323
I actually don't like this but like 36 chambers
>>72910323
>mu
>knowing anything about rap
>>72910323

>>72916700
he said he was forcing himself to dislike it idiot
>>72915994
a masterpiece
>>72916736
If you want to take his wording THAT literally, fine, but I doubt that's what he meant. He was saying that he can't get into it due to objectionable politics.
>>72916770
>I don't allow myself to like it
seriously dude
>>72916794
What is honestly the more plausible interpretation of that statement;
>I purposefully and forcefully stop myself from liking something I otherwise enjoy
or
>My feelings about the nation of islam interfere with my enjoyment of this album
I'll lock in B for $100 thanks, final answer.
>>72916947
you'd be wrong though. it's clearly a bait post.
>mfw the vinyl version of liquid swords doesn't include the final track BIBLE, the main offender for the islam shilling, and the black sheep of the album tonally
Vinyl proved the superior format once again!
>>72917171
it's a bonus track though
>>72917171
BIBLE is the best track you fucking backpacker.
>>72917208
>BIBLE is the best track
>>72917366
it kinda is
>>72910404
>he thinks the nation of islam is the same as the 5%
>he thinks either is bad
>>72910323
If you don't like B.I.B.L.E. you are the biggest pleb on earth
>>72910323
this has to be bait
>>72910678
That's exactly what this album does better than anything else. Listen to it again.
>>72917171
>>72917208
Bible is great. I don't see why anyone would hate it.
Duel of the Iron Mic, Living in the World Today, 4th Chamber, Labels, Swordsman, I Gotcha Back and B.I.B.L.E. are all amazingly strong tracks. Hells Wind Staff/ Killah Hills 10304 would be way higher if it didn't have the skit at the start about Don Rodriguez being a snitch.

Are you Norwegian or something?
