hi /mu/,
i won't start a pity party with feels, but i need the most bleak, hopeless, or dissociative music you've got.
i just got back from the gym, where i listened to swans for the first time while lifting. it hit the nail on the fucking head. i listened to filth and the great annihilator- i thought filth was better, but there were some seriously great tracks on both.
some other stuff i've enjoyed is big black, slint, early sonic youth, the velvet underground before cale left, tom waits, and also some less heavy stuff- elliott smith, elvis depressedly, teen suicide, codeine, and folk punk like the taxpayers and pat the bunny.
reqs pls :(

i think the best thing to come out of my black flag phase was an appreciation for how awesome of an artist raymond pettibon is
It's probably too slow but it is upsetting.
This is pretty much Bad Vibes: The Album

crywank is alright, but i feel like the guy forgets he's a musician and isn't just reciting poetry about being sad. the only album of his that really stuck with me was the one he released under a different name about stalking lisa simpson.

Probably my favorite album of all time, there's nothing like it. Dude killed himself like a year after it came out

This one is really good too in a totally different way

I find that album extremely romantic, not hopeless at all. To me that's music to fall in love and grow old to.
