Best: No Longer Making Time
Overrated: Star Roving (still great)
Underrated: Sugar for the Pill
Worst: Go Get It (still pretty good)
I've listened to the album more than twenty times since it came out and it currently occupies my AOTY spot, I think I have some sort of authority here.
Best: Go Get It (represents a very neat continuation of their sound, more dynamic than anything they've done before, with unprecedented subtlety in the verses and beautiful vocal cooperation and shoegazing in the chorus)
Overrated: Slomo (not a bad song by any means, but everyone seems to be nutting themselves over what they perceive to be a throwback to the Pygmalion sound, when the song isn't especially interesting aside from Rachel's vocals in the end and isn't a very good opener considering how bold the rest of the album is)
Underrated: Falling Ashes (certainly the best closer they've ever done, sees them exploring a totally new sound after revisiting their past sounds earlier on the album, I have no clue why so many people say it's the worst)
Worst: No Longer Making Time (just feels like a poorer version of Sugar For the Pill, is the only part of the album that feels phoned-in. No interesting guitar work or resonant songwriting, just bland dream pop)
