Anybody know any bands/albums with guitar work similar to this one?
Not invited: Captain Beefheart, Jefferson Airplane, or Buffalo Springfield.

The Grateful dead are anything but psychedelic

Try Iron Butterfly, their my favorite band and their song "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" Basically created early hard rock.

Also try Cream

Then what would classify such albums as Anthem of The Sun or Live Dead?
>Doesn't consider Grateful Dead "Psychedelic" but recommends Iron Butterfly
The guitars on Safe As Milk are p nice desu

>Anthem of The Sun or Live Dead?
It's basically jazz and prog rock and 70% of the album is experimental
The guitar work can't be related to Cheap thrills it's not as hard.

Well I still think they're both psychedelic but I can understand how one could consider a song like The Eleven Jazz.
Of course one could say the same about Inna Gadda Da Vida as well.

I don't believe that In a gadda da diva is 100% psychedelic but it is part psychedelic and a good one too.
