I play guitar casually, played drums for like 9 years in school. I used to sing and write music [spoiler]by which I mean I was a teenager once, so of fucking course I did[/spoiler] but I never once performed for anyone.

The top row plays single notes, the next row down plays single notes, the row below that plays majors, then minors, then augmented 7ths, then dimished chords in that order.

Its called a stradella bass setup and it's all based around circle of fifths.

Guitar types: Classical, flamenco, electric and bass.

Started playing in this order.

If I would give myself points for how well I can play each one, it would be :

8/10, 7,5/10, 8/10 and 8/10 - 6/10 (depends on if you count jazz in or not, cuz I can't do slapping that good).

1 being newbie and 10 being most technical player you can think of in that area. (Count only players that wrote proper songs like Paco de Lucia. Not someone who plays noe-classical licks at 2mil bpm)
Other than that I play Oud (something similar to lute). I can do death metal vocals but after 3-4 songi it gets hard for me to sing. Guess I eed more practice or better technique. I think my clean voice is not that good to be frontman but in backing vocals I can manage.

I've been playing the flute since I was 6. Along the way I picked up the sax and recently started on guitar and vocals. I've had an idea in the back of my head for a while to create some music. I gig pretty often in a semi-professional band in pubs around my local town.

I've been playing guitar for 8 years. Can read sheet music, took 1 jazz guitar course in college, still need improvement on improvisation. I have 100+ tracks on soundcloud. I still feel like I suck.

Drums, keyboard percussion (though I can only do 3 mallet, not 4,) banjo, I'm passable at piano but could use some improvement.
I used to be able to sing but lollungproblems. About 30 seconds of singing and I sound like Howlin' Wolf after a gravel and Drano cocktail.

I never played a tonal instrument until I bought a banjo on a whim, just drums.
I dunno, really. It's more portable and significantly less obnoxious, and you don't need accompaniment. I can take it camping and go "Anyway, here's Shady Grove."
