I listened to HIM today again, it actually still holds up in an ok way. It doesnt have to be scandinavian or "metal", i was aiming more at 2000-2005 shitty one it wonders that everybody forgot about.

I actually kinda agree. I went on a big nostalgic binge about 7 or 8 months ago and HIM was one of the few bands which I still found myself enjoying on some level.
