everyone on /mu/ hates this album but i think its pretty damn good. its super fun and really fucking aggressive, and the momentum is just awesome (other than the few lull tracks)

rtj 1 and 3 are good 2 was pretty awful musically though and I think a lot of the backlash was in regard to the hype 2 received, the reddit/regressive left bandwagon jumping on this band and police brutality political & social injustice themes being ramped up on 2 certainly made it more charmless as well

OK yeah maybe, I didn't say it was my personal stance I'm suggesting it may have contributed to /mu/'s backlash against RTJ. Personally I just didn't think RTJ2 sounded as good as 1 or 3 and I thought the effort was half-arsed and riding on the success of RTJ1.
