Hip hop fans that instantly shit on trap music without at least recognizing its potential. Trap music can bring a level of visceral energy not usually seen in hip hop (this is important since hip hop is a popular music genre), while the various sound effects/rhythmic variation using cymbals can create a more sophisticated level of rhythmic interplay than what has been hip hop so far (another thing that's important since you certainly don't listen to hip hop for its repetitive as fuck melodies.) But most "hardcore hip hop" fans don't care for trap because they fail to see this stuff while the casuals don't care about this stuff so the genre for the most of it has boring as fuck output.

To keep it back on topic though, really it's just a lot of hip hop fans because at the moment, outside of maybe the usual indie hipster rock stuff, no other genre of music has its most hardcore fanbase care so much about its non-musical qualities.

Also, Loveless along with Kid A and ITAOTS has been some of the most loved stuff here. The rest of /mu/core is also widely comprised of laidback middle class hipster white boy music like TVU&N or LYSF. This stuff gets A LOT more love than hip hop with none of the ironic "hip hop isn't real music" or "retards attempting poetry" threads with that weird looking pepe. The demographic here is definitely dominated by middle class white guys that are a bit stereotypically hipsterish and cynical.
