It's a small point, but there aren't actually any chords in that piece, nor are there in 99%+ of the music I make. The main two drones (i.e. not the bass, or the pitched synths at the end) are composed of two field recordings of streets (one empty, and one with a little traffic) that I manipulated, by removing most of the large sounds and amplifying the silence in my DAW, and them I chopped them up into 15 second long segments, and spread them across 6 tracks with different reverb stacks (all dry-kill patches, with some reverse reverbs to add different characters) and built the drones up that way. The harmonic quality comes from the use of long feedback delay patches on each track overlapping with one another. I try to avoid systems of harmony when at all possible, because it's kind of played out, and I make more interesting music without it.

this takes me back to when i used to exclusively listen to jungle
the background ambience doesnt really match the drums until about :55 though

It was a cool beat, but the vocals were drowned out and frankly a little flat, but I understand it's difficult until you really find your stride. More vocal variety and better mixing and you guys will have shows in no time
