I really enjoyed it to start with but with it's crazy popularity on soundcloud, it has become so over saturated with really low effort tracks reaching 300k+ plays and finding original lo-fi is increasingly difficult, it has become a circle jerk of anime pictures, who can put the most s p a c e s in the title and Rhodes piano run through an old sampler.
Yet another promising genre killed by bandagoners.
