I've been going through a LOT of 90s hip hop (here's my progress). The most underrated is Digital Undergrounds album and 'Do You Want More?' by the Roots.

if youre at all into jazz-rap, i highly recommend giving grass roots by the atban klann a listen. guys are like the pharcyde mixed with digable planets and atcq. its so disappointing their album was never officially released

Wow man I love your taste. Common - Resurrection and JayZ - Reasonable Doubt are two of my favorite albums EVER. Like top10 all time any genre. Finally they get their due. Resurrection in particular is almost never talked about but it's a perfect 10.

There are a few I've already listened to on here but I'm re listening to ALL of them so it's not marked yet.

For example I've listened to OutKast before (Aquemini being my favorite of their 90s stuff) but I don't mark it on the chart until i re listen to it. I'm going in order.
