I liked it, it was a fun listen overall, but very easily digestable. Carolina, Sign of the Times and Sweet Creature are the best tracks, I liked Only Angel and Kiwi (despite "dad rock"). The hook on Woman is insufferable, the last track would be a lot better if the lyrics weren't so corny. The other 2 tracks I can barely remember, they were 'meh'.
Might listen to it a few more times, but I can't see myself coming back to it months/years from now.

SOTT feels like 1 vesre that never ends for almost 6 minutes due to the verse/chorus melody being the same. + I'm not usually a fan for the "We Are Young"-level bombast

"Woman" at least has that groove throughout, I like the blend of modern/late 70s rock sound

Well the <3 in the album rating is like a 2.5.
i have actually bumped the rating up to 3, after some songs improved for me. My song rating average is a ~3.35 with my system, closest to 3. the <3 will remain for I find it an *easy* album to put on and find enjoyable, but the bad/overlong songs are terrible at interrupting a flow I get from it.
That + my other gripe of songs sounding too much like older originals -- I mean can anyone say Beck's "Morning" isn't exactly like Harry's "Two Ghosts"?
