Cohen's first album is still leagues ahead of him.

Jeff was already a pretty accomplished musician by the time he made Grace, it's not like he was just a budding talent. I highly doubt he would have ever reached the heights of Cohen or even his father.

Although I think Jeff Buckley is VERY overrated(he is like an easy-listen,less creative,pop(the last one not necessarily a bad thing) version of his father), I prefer his version to Leonard's. Jeff was probably the greatest cover musician of all time,he knew how to pick the songs and how interpret them in a way that many blues,soul,gospel musicians who spent their whole life playing other people's material never even came close.
Still Just cover guy,nothing too impressive.

I would have liked to seen atleast 3 albums to be honest. He was mostly a pure cover guy in his early years before Grace, i think he would have matured nicely desu, whether or not he got to LC or his father's level is questionable though. Unfortunate both Buckley's perished so young.
