I really like this project called Diners. I'm not sure why it has been resonating so well with me. I just think there's something warm about listening to it. Their last album "three" was probably my favorite album that came out last year because it feels like a concept album about being a music lover. Such a simple, but sweet concept for a great little barqoue pop album. Initially got turned on to them by a friend who does music journalism. She interviewed AJJ and they said it was their favorite band. Hasn't gained much traction though, the man behind it seems to timid to really self promote although it might not be something he's interested in any way.

They just put out this mini-LP recently. Every song was recorded in one take I guess. Cute collection of songs.

Is that James Comey?
Isn't everything that's not listed in /mu/ or the charts "obscure"?
Honestly fucking criminal. He became a joke by doing the whole Kenny Dennis schtick, but Serengeti's serious albums are some of the best ever made.
