This is pretty fun. Compositionally I like it a lot, it's really bouncy and pleasant. Some work needs to be done mixing wise, the lead fast synth line and those synth chord stabs are really competing with each other for center stage, which makes it sound more cluttered than it actually is. Fun track though.

This is great. I started off kinda iffy on it, but it grew on me a ton. Got a real Twin Peaks meets Queen vibe, the layered vocals were by far and away the highlight.

That's been the biggest thing I've taken out of feedback so far - need work on the mixing. But I guess since it's the first thing I've really put out, that makes sense. I think next time I'm not going to worry about things clipping nearly as much. Just go for an in-your-face, world ending, cataclysmic vibe. Wear my drone and DSBM influences a bit more heavily.

Speaking of drone, I enjoyed your stuff quite a bit. It's tricky coming out with a defined sound with drone since so much of it tends to sound the same, but you really came out with something...what's a good word? Hair-rending? Nightmare soundtrack? I dig the sounds and the constant fuzz in the background that sounds like two cliffs colliding. Not something I could listen to for more than a couple tracks at a time, but that goes for most of this kind of music. You do it well.

Thanks man, I find that a lot of noise music completely disregards the concept of dynamics and pacing so INTERVALS is kind of a first attempt at solving that problem. I am interested in creating actual compositions within the genre framework of noise, rather than just going for pure abrasion at all times.

Also I want to clarify that I don't think the mix itself is bad, it actually sounds quite good for what I assume is a bedroom recording. I just think that the songs are too similar sonically, even though they are different melodically, if you know what I mean. The songs all sound like they are washed in the same reverb, everything is mixed into the same space in all the songs etc. Obviously washed with reverb is the intended aesthetic, and it does sound good, but it also tends to smear a lot of the details which makes the songs a little more same-y sounding. Just work on refining it and you've got a pretty good sound, it's not that far off from being there.

I like the song, but the mix could use some tweaking. Consider panning the drums and organ away from center.

Kinda had a weird mix of inspo on it, which is why I agree with a lot of people when they say that the composition needed to be worked on.
I sampled a looot of vinyl and kind of tried to make it all work together with my own synthesis. It was after I listed to Kendrick's new album and I kind of got on a sampling kick.
Also I wanted it to basically lead into the other song, Without Your Trust, which again, revolved around sampling.
The beginning basically was supposed to be calm and relatively relaxing, representing how I was before my last relationship.
As it got more stressful, the song got more intense, then it goes back to the original sample, after the breakup.

Voice is a little like phoebe bridgers, hook is real solid too. The actual guitar playing leaves maybe a little to be desired in terms of adding some oomph or passion but since you said this is basically a demo that doesn't matter too much.
