Am I the only one autistic enough to avoid 'deluxe' albums? I want to judge the original album as it was intended with the songs in the correct order. The only exception that springs to mind is Rumours, Silver Springs is better than many songs that made it onto the original album.

It depends. If the deluxe-edition is the same price or in some cases, even cheaper than the original then i'll go with deluxe-edition. Otherwise, I agree with your sentiment. Deluxe-editions rarely offer people anything besides the usual 2-3 extra-songs that may or may not be added there.

almost every deluxe edition I've had has the same exact song listing with a second disc or whatever. except for Bee Thousand.

Money doesn't come into it for me as I stream my music through Tidal and where there's a deluxe version (or several) there is usually also the original available.
