Can we have a thread dedicated to this beautiful man?
What's you're favorite era/album/song?
1990 and artistic vice are two fantastic, accessible albums by the Johnst
Don't Be Scared is a masterpiece
82-83 is my favourite period, I feel like he was his most honest and direct here
I cant help but feel sad when i see pictures of him
I hope he is happy

Whether or not he's happy, he's a lot better. He's even lost a good amount of the weight he gained after getting his shit together.

oh wow
Hi, How Are You is his best, as it's his most varied album and arguably his most honest up to that point. You can definitely tell he was telling the truth when he said he had a nervous breakdown recording that one. Retired Boxer is his second best and absolutely criminally underrated/overlooked. In terms of developed conventional songwriting he'd really hit his peak on that album. The first and last songs are just beautiful.
