I appreciate the sentiment but you are being rather presumptuous. I don't really think it's anything to do with age, I have a lot of friends who like punk music (many much older than me) so I'm subjected to it quite frequently, I just don't enjoy it that much.
I do listen to a wide variety of genres otherwise and have listened to five albums today alone that I'd not heard before, all different genres.
