Wings are my favorite band, even over the Beatles. Red Rose Speedway is my least favorite album by them. It starts off great, but as it gets towards the middle it really drops off. The last few songs are pretty good too
>The really good songs
Big Barn Bed
My Love (the hit single)
Get On The Right Thing
When The Night
Loup (First Indian On The Moon)
Medley
If youre going to spend time listening to Wings, this is a fair ranking imo
1. Band On The Run (10/10)
>better than any Beatles album
2. Back To The Egg
>VERY solid and is a precursor to McCartney II
3. Wild Life
>almost Ram pt. 2 -- the one song that drags it down is "Bip Bop"
4. London Town
>the first in Macca's trilogy of electronic experimentation (London Town, Back To The Egg, McCartney II). Very solid if you like Electronic rock/early new wave.

5. Venus & Mars
>It's hard for me to put this album so low because the songwriting is superb. The production value however is horrendous. The lead guitar is almost non-existent. All of the songs on this album that are also on the live album Wings Over America are redeemed.
6. Wings At The Speed of Sound
>Suffers from the same issues as Venus & Mars. Still a good album with hits like Let Em In and Silly Love Songs. Deepcut pick: Beware My Love. Stay away from Linda's only songwriting entry while in Wings: Cook of the House.
7. Red Rose Speedway
For reasons stated before.
I would suggest listening to the live album Wings Over America as well. I'd put it at spot #3 if I ranked it among their studio albums.
wings are super underrated
