Is that a giant demon behind distant mountains? Because that would mean the links in the chain gradually get fucking tremendous as you move further back from the priest to the demon.

Or is that a regular sized demon standing behind a tiny rock outcropping, and basically four feet back from the water?

Now that this album cover has me questioning what my own eyes are perceiving, I'm ready to escalate up to questioning organized religion. Dio does it again!

Ironically, Dio was quite religious and created the rock/metal horns from the sign to ward off evil that he learned from his Catholic grandmother.

I think some of his later interviews seem to suggest he leaned towards antagonistic than outright atheism. Though according to Wendy, he specifically requested Late Rites when he was in hospital and had the priest stay with him until his final moments, plus I remember Glenn Hughes mentioning "mass" when he was talking about Dio's funeral, so it seems he wanted a religious funeral for his friends and family. I guess the whole "Once a Catholic, always a Catholic" adage rings true with him.

Dio - Not entirely clear
Bonnet - Outright atheist (He left AA because he felt it'd be dishonest since he doesn't believe in God)
JLT - Convert to Buddhism from Catholicism, though has his own weird mish-mash of ideas influenced by people like David Icke
White - Unknown; refuses to talk about his personal life in interviews
Romero - Practising Protestant
