Different enough to paint themselves out of the corner they were in, but not so much as to alienate the fanbase.

Personally, I could've listened to more by-the-numbers National albums, I have no problem with their formula, but if this is what it takes for them to stay interested in the project then so be it.

Hopefully some of the other tracks of the album have more orchestration.
