That's kind of a fallacy. Just because that's how the artist wanted it to be experienced doesn't mean that it is the BETTER way to experience it. In fact, Brian being deaf in one ear would even it out because it essentially means that even if Brian wanted to make it stereo, he couldn't because he wouldn't be able to mix it with his deafness.

Mono is trash. I'll never understand anyone who says mono is superior. You lose all that great layering and clarity. Mono is muddy af. Same applies to the Beatles mono set. Help! In mono is an embarrassment.

Both are good, but for different reasons. Mono is actually warmer and more intimate. I listen go the mono when I want to listen to the album for muh feels
