Are they worth listening to? Should I invest my time listening

I'd say so, if you listen to the right albums.
I'd say listen to Blue then Pinkerton, then Maladroit, then their latest two albums. Ignore everything else, maybe listen to Red bonus tracks if you want to.

Two albums isn't a long discography. It's a shame about that tour bus crash in '97, Weezer no doubt had many more excellent albums in them.

Do exactly this. Although I would say listen to Green as well. It's a harmless little Pop album clocking in under 30 minutes. But I do think it's kinda dull overall.

You only need to listen to 'Island in The Sun' - that's the winner on the album and you won't find much else satisfying on it.
