You guys have no idea what butt rock is. Guitar riffs, grunge influence, and meh to meh to shit lyrics don't make butt rock. Butt rock is Nickelback (specifically Someday for example), Creed (specifically Higher), Hinder (Lips of an Angel), The Calling (Wherever You Will Go), and bands like them.

I suppose Rise Against can fit in there as well, not from the era though

this nigga gets it. but rise against sounds too much like it was made by emo teene and it's too fast paced. butt rock is mostly slow to mid tempo, with a few fast tracks occasionally. Five Finger Death Punch might not count though because they're too metal-ish
