I have a record that does not want to play the last song. it keeps looping just before the transition.
I've cleaned it with a brush and some alcohol, tried adjusting anti-skate and pressure, but cannot get the needle to go past it

any ideas?

no, bought it recently and this is the first time playing it. a slight bump to the record player at the right time does get it out.
should I try wood glue perhaps?

haven't tried that method but seems like it takes a long time. could try doing a VPI clean, if you don't have one you could see if your local record store does. would not recommend bumping the record player while it's playing though
