anybody into Einstürzende Neubauten's later albums? I only ever see their first three talked about on here as classic industrial but pic related's been growing on me a lot, not nearly as aggressive but it's got a really nice dark/gothic atmosphere and some of their best songwriting

I'd put Alles Wieder Offen up there with their best 80s stuff. I could never really get into Silence Is Sexy though, I'm not sure why.

How does everyone feel about Killing Joke's "sellout" period in the mid-late 80s? I'd honestly put the original Chris Kimsey mix of Brighter Than A Thousand Suns not all that far below Night Time.

I was first introduced to Neubauten with Tabula Rasa and really got into them through their Palast der Republik DVD and generally prefer their later works. Perpetuum Mobile is a personal favorite.

80s yugoslavia was a pretty grim place
