Jumping Flash (PS1)
> kids game about a robot rabbit saving the world from being chopped up into chunks by an alien theme park developer - very japanese, cool 90s breakbeat stuff going on it, tons of melodies

If you're the same anon who posted this song >>72677751 in a vg music thread like a week ago or so, thank you so much for introducing me to this. The soundtrack is incredible and I'm pretty sure I never would have learned about this weird ass Japan only dreamcast game any other way
Not surprising since this game only came out in Japan. The only reason I ever played it at all was because I found a translated ROM online.

No it isn't, you can't find a best NES games list that doesn't include it.
Shitshow of a game but great soundtrack
>>72679844
i mean outside of the retro fags
games like Little Nemo, Metal Storm, Shatterhand, Shadow of the Ninja, Journey to Silius, The Guardiann Legend, etc. are well-known among the weirdo NES nerds, but hardly anyone who hasn't ran in that circles ever heard of those games, while Contra, Castlevania, Mega Man, Mario, Punch-Out!, Metroid, etc. are pretty much common knowledge
>>72679939
>Journey to Silius
Jesus those fucking TUNES.

yeah this one's technically from a remaster album and the game itself isn't obscure by any means but nobody ever really talks about the music.

These were all amazing. Jeremy Soule is a genius, the third one on the PS2 was my favourite, it was great how the music changed depending on the time, place and season, really lent well to the atmosphere and immersion
