Just disappointed because we were working on a second album which I thought was going to be really good
Hopefully I can find another band to use the ideas with

Momma is great. I love how the piano is distorted. It feels all wrong but all together its so beautiful
>>72673260
Love how eerie but relaxing it is all at the same time. This is good.
I know I haven't been checking out other people work in a couple days but you guys have prove to me that that is a mistake.

Would you ever make an LP? this stuff's been sounding pretty good, 'specially Balladur's i really like.
This is a new project, we released the thing just today, so here is it...

production on Faustine is great, love those synths and that chord progresssion... wish vocals were higher in the mix and the crash had less reverb on it but this is great
>>72673458
In The City is nice and calm but the intro is a bit repetitive for my liking and it really doesn't progress enough- try adding drum fills and whattnot to make it more interesting

I really dig your production. also you have a cool concept.
>>72673091
Sorry to hear that, your music is pretty good, hope you can keep making good stuff
>>72673099
Great. You had some ideas that shouldn't be together but somehow they work as a whole here.
>>72673221
This is very emotive. Every song feels diferent, but connected in a melancholic way. Also the Broadside is just so good.
>>72673713
Chaotic but chill at the same time. you have a really interesting production here
>>72674595
Agressive but well thought tracks. Cool flow too
>>72674679
lyrics need a lot of work they read like a high school poem
>>72674679
I'm pretty sure I heard your song on these threads before, but it's really good! You have a wonderful voice, the instrumentals are really good, the song structure is good, the sounds quality is great! Are you releasing more soon?>>72674595

your newest single is intentse, I didn't expect this kind of sound from Indianopolis. Reminds me of a less abrasive death grips. I think you're more inventive than they are in a way. Good shit!

usually I'm not a fan of experimental/ambient electronic but I really like your song Pulse. There's a lot going on, but you mixed it all together well. Intense but not overwhelming, laid-back but not boring. Altogether bretty good m8.

reading them I agree, but I couldn't make it out while listening to the song, I think the vocals are good enough and washed with reverb enough that it doesn't really matter

Critiques/Recs:
>>72673260
Thank you so much for the kind words man, it means a lot. The last year has weighed on me in a terrible way, there is some solace in hearing that my emotion was conveyed to you.
For your track I loved the build up to when the drums come in. I can feel the drama building, but I once we got there you could've used drums with a little more oompf. Just let them hit harder. Maybe some modulation on that high synth part would be good, like change chords for extra tension before you hit that resolution at the end.
>>72673054
I like the production on this track, especially the happier/celebration sounding outro on the last verse. Last verse also has the best lyrics too.
>>72673057
You do a really great job at painting a mood with these tracks. The song names also do a great job at lining up with the feeling. How did you come upon your name?
I also listened to The Death of Pablo and I think you create a clearer, easier to understand mood on that project. I think the only thing you could add is a real melody to some of the songs (although you probably aren't especially going for that).
>>72673064
You already know how I feel man, I like it a lot. I think your profile pic might be giving off an image that is not congruent with the music you are putting out, but who am I to say that. Just be yourself.

I think this is pretty fun stuff. If I ever move to North Carolina and you still need a sax player to make a new band I'll hit you up. Sad it had to end it really sounds like you guys are having fun. I think any future band might benefit from better soloists.
>>72673267
I like the simplicity of this a lot. I could feel how you felt while you were playing. I think the reason I connected to it is because I often sit down at the piano and just go. It usually ends up sounding a lot like what you found in this video.
I actually went into your bandcamp and love the sound, but some clear melodies might benefit you.

but your sampling is quite good though.
fav song is prob passion, we need more ambient hip hop, if you have a further release let me know cause I wanna check your vocals and shit out
