I don't know. I love it the first time I listened to it. It immediately struck me in a way that only happens every once in a while. Just the whole almost unsettling, childhood/nostalgia Halloween vibe I get from it. Been obsessed with it ever since.
I've been getting into emo recently, I also didn't like it at first, thought it was kinda pop punky at times. Listen to Midwest Emo like Mineral, Sunny Day Real Estate, and American Football, then come back to it.

The only emo I've liked from the start is Pinkerton, which I understand might as well not count?
I dunno
I feel like you wont like it unless you connect with it?
First time I listened to it I was going through major relationship issues with a girl. It spoke to me like not much else did at the time.

I love emo, but don't think this album is that emo. Anyways, I started enjoying this album when I was in a shitty place in my life, so it could be that lol
This album is pretty good, and I love that sense of being tired, frustration and sadness this album has.

some of it is boring, but overall it is awesome
Sowing season, handcuffs, not the sun are the best on the album
