I'm still absorbing it, but no question this is not a heavy and serious band. My takeaway from every album, including this one, is that it sounds like they are having a lot of fun.

This music is fun, and the band is sincere (and very talented and dedicated). But to take them for more than they are is to miss the joke.

So what is the "story" here? Altered beast turns a dude into People Vultures and then a robot shows up?
