Post albums you ignored at first but fell in love with after revisiting them.

Took me a while to get into it but it was worth it
Pretty much everything by swans i tried to listen to i enjoy a lot now.... except a lot of stuff off sftb, which is hailed as the best the best the best around here but what the hell does /mu/ know
Had to shelve this one for a few months before going back to it but I certainly felt it on the relisten. That back half is pretty fucking abstract, though.

Soundtracks isn't my favorite from them but it certainly deserves to be hailed as a unique achievement and a cornerstone of post-rock. I can understand not liking it though, it probably requires more patience than any of their other albums. I think Love of Life and The Great Annihilator did an okay job of foreshadowing some of its tendencies, though.
Death Grips - The Money Store
Probably a pretty cliche answer but it took me a while to "get" Death Grips.
Also didn't appreciate lo-fi music for a while. Not sure when it clicked for me but I just developed a better ear for the instrumentation and whatnot.
