But thank you for picking the superior commercially released live album, no one mentions the band was on a downward movement by the time Stop Making Sense was filmed

mainly because it's still fantastic. Even with a few questionable choices (cutting I Zimbra and keeping Swamp), the album has the best versions of pretty much every Speaking in Tongues era track, as well as the best version of Naive Melody, which is saying something.
