Can someone explain to me what dub actually sounds like? I've never seen an adequate description of its sound.

its not a sound its a process of how it made. like turntablism or plunderphonics describe a methodology of making or electronic and rock describe instrumentation whereas ambient or techno describes a specific tyle of sound
