ftfy

Fripp isn't going to put anything up there as long as he lives. Might as well just cave in and buy everything.

All of cLOUDDEAD's other releases, yes. I haven't gone through everything that Dose, Yoni, and Odd Nosdam have done with other groups or solo though outside of Alopecia and The Taste of Rain...Why Kneel? What would you recommend?
>>
>>72648680
Boom Bip (& Doseone)
Themselves / Subtle / 13 & God
Pedestrian
Sole
Hymie's Basement
Reaching Quiet and other Nosdam stuff

Be sure to check out the live albums from Themselves and Subtle, as well as the Boom Bip & Doseone / cLOUDDEAD Peel Sessions.

I advise you to listen to Krautrock and not to waste your time with shitty progressive rock bands like Yes and Pink Floyd they're not nothing but memes
>>
>>72648795
Early Pink Floyd is a Soft Machine contemporary, and essential listening.
Don't be such a drone.
>>
>>72648134
foxtrot
>>
>>72648795
Pleb level is liking the basic entry level prog bands (Yes, Rush, Pink Floyd from DSotM to The Wall).

Normie level is Krautrock.

Patrician level is King Crimson, Genesis, early Pink Floyd, Soft Machine, and jazz fusion.
>>
>>72648781
Neat, thanks
>>
>>72648887
Ultra-patrician is listening to bands like Henry Cow and Univers Zero, and having thorough knowledge of Quebec's symphonic fusion scene.
>>
More like Wilco-Yankee hotel foxtrot

I've been looking a long time for a record like this by another band. Can anyone help?
>>
>>72649007
People I know who like Wilco also tend to like Big Star, so I guess listen to them.

what krautrock have you listened to anon?
>>
>>72648887
The idea that the average listener here doesn't know much of King Crimson's stuff is hilarious.
>>
>>72649042
Which you should. You're a not a pleb for listening to Yes or Rush, just only if that's the only prog you know- someone who listens to Can and Rush is not a pleb.
>>72649127
A decent chunk. This one>>72649115
Most of Can's discography. Kraftwerk, Faust, Tangerine Dream, Neu!
>>72649149
It's because Fripp takes down any online presence of the band.
>>
>>72648349
try gazpacho, not quite the same but it has the balkan folk inspired instrumentation in some songs
>>
>>72649249
Your fascination with pleb/patrician indicates that you're either in high school or woefully immature emotionally. Real patricians aren't concerned with what other people are listening to.

why even post
>>
>>72649329
I come here to discuss things I like with other people that like them, or to get recommendations for things I haven't heard. There is actually no point discussing music when you think about it. You're never going to convince anyone to stop or start liking something. It's all subjective. May as well just listen to music and decide what you like. If you want to wear your taste as an accessory to impress people, be my guest, but it's truly infantile behaviour and you will grow out of it eventually. No one in the real world gives a flying fuck about anything you are doing if it doesn't affect them.
>>
>>72649249
You can still easily find all of Fripps stuff online.

I'm not impressing anyone- it's an anonymous imageboard. Like you said, there's no point. Might as well shitpost.

I've been here since 2009. At the end of the day, this is why we're here.

>>
>>72649454
I've also been here since 2009. And I wasn't necessarily directing that comment at you inasmuch as I was directing it at all the young shit-posters of /mu/ who seem to have completely missed the point. I find it baffling that people actually care how people perceive their taste. Those people are the only plebs as far as I'm concerned, and when they get older they'll understand no one cares at all what music they like, because listening to music is one of the least important things someone can do.
>>72649486
Thank you for the recs.

Is nobody going to do you the service to recommend Genesis? It's the first place I'd go if I'm you, and this is considered by most to be their best album.
