Bitchass, how dare you disgrace this obviously blessed thread?
Anywho, Bowie already had Bolan play the guitar for him, I mean, come on just check out the Prettiest Star Single, Bowie was the magic but Bolan at the end was just that, guitar.
FUCK
Well that's the extent of my dump here, i'm glad to have been a part of this obviously blessed thread.
Long live the King of /mu/
Few months ago I saw a thread here about /mu/ making a cover album of Bowie's songs.
There was some pretty good Sgt. Pepper's album cover made. I forgot the name of the blog website.
How is it going?
>>72645511
Don't know personally, guy who was running it died out on us.
+ No one would do the Sweet Thing Suit

Probably listened to too much shoegaze and got himself a severe depression. Gotta wait until the summer so he gets better.
What do you all think of scaruffi's intense hatred and denunciation of bowie as:
>Bowie was a protagonist of his times, although a poor musician:
>On blackstar: This is trivial "music" that any amateur could make, except that most amateurs would be ashamed to release it.
>Bowie embodies the quintessence of artificial art, raises futulity to paradigm, focuses on the phenomenon rather than the content, makes irrelevant the relevant, and, thus, is the epitome of everything that went wrong with rock music
>For better and for worse, Ziggy marked the end of the myth of rock sincerity/spontaneity: the star was no longer a teenager among many, a "working-class everyman", and, above all, the star was no longer "himself" but rather a calculating inventor of artificial stances and attitudes. His show indirectly mocked and ridiculed the messianic aura of rock music.
He rates bowie as one of the most overrated musician of all time
>>72645836
It's easy to disregard because he obviously doesn't have a single clue as to what he's talking about.
However, nonetheless, it's also clear that he's yet to read up on a single earlier interview with Bowie.

>He rates bowie as one of the most overrated musician of all time
He is one of them but I dont care. Scaruffi wouldn't know fun if it fucked him while he was drunk.
>>72645836
Scaruffi is clueless when it comes to Bowie
>>72645836
Scaruffi's just a pretentious contrarian. Of course he'll say Bowie is overrated.
so what do you guys think the art to "Heroes" symbolizes
I always thought it was a nazi doin a sig heil, but his hand is kind of meant to represent a mirror. and he does not like what he sees in it. really ties into the critiques of nazism on the album.

Bowie transcends sexuality.
