Favourite Neil Young album and why is it On The Beach

It actually is On The Beach soooo

I actually prefer Tonight's the Night, though I guess it's in a similar vein. I actually used it for a final essay analysis in a canadian popular music college class once. I was surprised how deep you could dig on that one.

Ambulance Blues is his best song imo but my favorite album from him is Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere.

After The Gold Rush or Harvest
not because they have my favorite songs (I'd pick On the Beach, Everybody or his s/t) but almost all the songs are great & i'm not too annoyed by their few fillers

So many contenders for his best album, but at the end of the day I would probably go with On the Beach too.

Take out Southern Man and Goldrush is perfect. Not that Southern Man is a bad song, its just too agressive to fit the mellow introspective vibe on the rest of the record
