LRD seems like a constant /mu/core band to me. I haven't been here for much more than a year but I think it has the makings of a /mu/core album.

It's very sad when /mu/ stops loving a good album though. I heard that you guys went trough a Battles - Gloss Drop phase when it came out and it kind of upsets me that newfags aren't being exposed to it.

I think the tone comes from the way the shows were recorded. It was all very lofi.

At the time they probably used MXR Phase 90s and a fuckton of reverb and amp feedback. Maybe a fuzz face.
