We had a great tmg threads on this board a few years back, what happened, am I the only one left?

tmg are one of those bands with a pretty loyal following that'll have a thread show up every once in a while thats filled with lurkers. not the kind of thing a lot of /mu/tants would latch onto.

Listening to it now. It's a little different, but I'm digging it. It's not all matching up to the quality of the singles they released but I'm not fully appreciating what it says about the goth genre because I don't know anything about it. Either way, still digging it overall. Wonder what John will do next.

his book Universal Harvester suuuuuucked. I've heard Wolf in White Van was a lot better, but man....I have zero desire to listen to the Mountain Goats now after how shitty that book was.

Yes, I used to listen to them quite a bit 4-5 years ago. Just grew out of them I suppose, and the mediocre book sealed the deal. Ah well.
