Thoughts on Roxy Music?
They are starting to become more popular on here and I just want to let all of you know that you're not a sophisticate for listening to Roxy Music and it's just cheesy, overrated 70s pop and you're all a bunch of plebs. Toodles!

over-rated and too flamboyant for my taste
same with bryan ferry's solo work
bryan ferry is morrissey's music father in many respects

Toodles!

Maddeningly inconsistent, often great. Avalon is a must-listen-to.

If There Is Something has a more creative structure than most prog music

Brian Eno was the keyboardist for the first two albums so it's not a surprise that they would be popular though there seems to be favor towards the later Ferry works too.

>Toodles!

Never seen the appeal of that one. If I'm gonna pick anything else from the first album it's Ladytron.

They are currently my favorite band. Can we rank albums?
Roxy Music > Stranded > For Your Pleasure > Country Life > Siren > Flesh+Blood > Avalon > Manifesto
Yeah they are great, catchy as fuck power pop band. For Your Pleasure is probably my fave

Bryan Ferry isn't flamboyant at all. He's probably the coolest cat there ever was.

THAT HALOWEEN JACK IS A REAL COOL CAT

Avalon > For Your Pleasure > Country Life > Flesh + Blood > Roxy Music > Stranded > Siren
Haven't heard Manifesto.
I got into Roxy Music for their early stuff, but their last album is easily their best. Avalon is beautiful.

I unironically enjoy More Than This desu
Love is the Drug is a tune and The Bogus Man is nice jam. Otherwise I don't really care for them anymore, they were pretty great for their time though, especially the Eno records
>>72621630
Haven't listened but one of my sisters is called Avalon after the song, so I probably should.

Scaruffi gave their debut an 8 so that's where you're wrong kiddo. Kek you probably like Bowie don't you?
