Here are my favorites. So far Aaron Dilloway and Kara-Lis Coverdale are pulling ahead but still need some more listens. New Forest Swords is solid but not a big fan of him going towards a less dark sound.

I haven't listened to many things from this year but I'm feeling this one will end up in my top 3. As of today, it's my AOTY.

I'm waiting for the new PWR BTTM album. If it all ends up sounding like "Answer My Text", I'm gonna love it.

You can stream the new PWR BTTM on NPR First Listen. It's good but didn't quite meet my expectations (which were, admittedly, quite high).

Yeah you know I also struggled with feelings of betrayal for a long time. Especially after the huge deal they made out of their breaking up.

But hell, the guy's only human and people’s feelings change over time.

After hearing Call The Police and American Dream, I’m really glad they came back because these are among the best songs they’ve ever made.

You are absolutely right about this, yeah. It's like we tend up to think as artists are something beyond humans...
I'm not a huge fan of their new songs but I guess I'll end up liking a lot more in the context of their new album, I guess.

This Clap! Clap! album is amazing, cheers to the guy who recced it about a week ago. It's African influeneced electropop sorta stuff. Hard to properly categorize but I love it, definitely a refreshing album.
