Could anyone here link me to the /mu/core chart.com for Funk, if there is such a thing? I have a friend who's a college dj and he keeps bugging me for funk recommendations because I'm supposedly an audiophile. I couldn't help him that much, I only have a basic appreciation of the genre. James Brown, Sly Stone, George Clinton, Bootsy, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Kool & The Gang, 70's Blaxploitation and Porno movie soundtracks, etc.
Also, your funk recommendations, in general, are welcome. Funk this shit up.
I don't have time atm, have a look through these /groove/ generals
https://rbt.asia/mu/search/subject/groove/
Also, Zapp & Roger, Larry Graham, Baby Huey, Betty Davis, Fred Wesley and the JB's.

Such a tight band. His funk show is definitely light on the late 60's stuff. tyvm!
