This is pretty much the only actual written and performed music that's scary to me. In order for anything else to come close it has to be one of those fucked up field recording albums like Sotos makes or the Jonestown Massacre. :STALAGGH: gets close to being scary at times, :GULAGGH: too.

It's a masterpiece to say the least, the feeling of fear from the very get go hits home

Whitehouse (Bennet specifically) I think are simply the masters of making frightening music, but the association from outside with his art related work in the 2000s with albums like Bird Seed or Cruise take away from his truly haunting albums all the way back to Examples of Cannibalism in '81 or Birthdeath Experience in '80.
Bennet's ability to quickly go from calm to deranged in his vocals and his very "unique" screaming that he does make something about it seem so real, you can tell he hasn't practiced screaming and isn't using some technique, he's simply screaming, it doesn't entirely make sense and he mumbles out some of the words.
He's also one of the best noise artists at modulating feedback I've ever heard.

I've listened to his entire discography, and you're absolutely correct in that sense. Relating to Mummy and Daddy, the section during the last part of Daddo when he speaks in that deep and emotionless tone, is one of the most traumatic and haunting moments in their discography.

What is this album about? I tried googling it, but the only thing I found was Peter Soto's Wikipedia page.

This and A Beautiful Place Out In The Country are really creepy. I listened to them alone camping one time and it wasn't a good time.
