I like Al cause he didn't give up on Brian, even deciding to tour with him in 06, even though it lead him to getting kicked out of Beach Boys basically and getting sued by Mr. Love, but he still decided to tour with Brian as recently as 2016

Dennis is the best behind Brian IMO.
In a different world he should’ve been the creative leader throughout the 70’s.

Carl, Bruce, and maybe even Mike (he cowrote a lot of good stuff, and not just the stuff he sued for later), are a head of Dennis to me. But all of the main 6 are great in my opinion.

I dont know why the Beach Boys didnt go in this direction. They could have made mood music and created sonic landscapes but choose to chase fame as middle aged rockers. Thats why Dennis is way ahead of the others to me.

Yeah, Bruce gets ignored because he just goes along with what Mike tells him to do, but he wrote some of their best tunes, plus he was the member that got Pet Sounds really noticed in the UK, which was where it was a hit first.

Because Dennis was drunk all the time and Brian was tooo high. Both were by far the most creative, but didn´t care enough for being productive for the band (at least at the time), so Carl and Mike and the others took over.
