Not to mention the fact that this poor guy has had a pretty shitty career so far with Metallica. First album he works with them on is their most despised, second one is good but infamous for its shitty production and the third one he barely contributed to. Hell, his 12 year old son has his own band and toured with korn, so his kid has probably accomplished more than him

rick rubin had nothing to do with the retarded compression on this record, after it has been produced it is essentially out of the band and rubin's hands what happens in the mastering stage. blame the record label
