He often did really wacky things like that on stage...so everyone who knew him thought it was just part of his shtick.

He had repeatedly said in the past that he would die on stage...he died exactly how and where he wanted to...if not when.

But its freaky to see them all looking at him while they play and they have no idea they are watching him die.
